Aziz participates in research as site Principal Investigator with IMPAACT (The International Maternal Pediatric Adolescent AIDS Clinical Trials group), a global collaboration of investigators and institutions with the purpose of conducting clinical trials that treat and prevent HIV infection and its consequences in infants, children, adolescents and pregnant/postpartum women. She is a co-investigator with the adult AIDS Clinical Trials Group. She has clinical expertise in HIV infection as well as Pre-exposure prophylaxis for HIV. She has experience in the management of Pediatric HIV infection and in prevention of maternal to child transmission of HIV. She also has in interest in Pediatric Infectious diseases, Global Health and Tropical Infectious Diseases.
