Mallory Bejster, DNP, RN’s experiences in public health nursing, nursing education, and the inextricable connection between them, including the development and sustainment of academic-practice partnerships, provide the foundation for her practice and scholarship work. Throughout her career, Bejster has focused her educational, practice, scholarship and service activities around assessing for and meeting the needs of learners and community-based partners by planning, implementing and evaluating evidence-based strategies and programs. Bejster’s ultimate goals as a public health nurse and educator are to promote health and to prepare nursing students to promote health in their future practice.
