John Konen, MD, specializes in minimally invasive colon and rectal surgery including laparoscopic and robotic surgery, robotic procedures for rectal prolapse, transanal minimally invasive surgery (TAMIS), colonoscopy, and sacral nerve stimulation for fecal incontinence. He has a special interest in the treatment of inflammatory bowel disorders — including ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease — as well as the treatment of colon, rectal, and anal cancer.
He believes in a strong multidisciplinary approach toward treating various diseases of the colon and rectum, which leads to excellent individualized care for each of his patients.
