Jia-liang Li, MD, PhD, is a Research Technician III, working in the Rush Alzheimer’s Disease Center lab. After earning his doctoral degree from West China University of Medical Sciences, he received two years postdoctoral research training on molecular oncological pathology at Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences. In 1998, he came to Rush University as a postdoctoral fellow and an instructor at molecular oncology lab and RADC. His research focuses on molecular, biological and stereological aspects of Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, aging and tumors. Currently, he did a series of studies on the spinal cord. He is a member of AACR and the American Society of Neuroscience and has published more than 20 research articles.
