Jennifer Ventrelle, MS, innovates by synthesizing expertise in the management of diet, physical activity, and chronic stress. She is a registered dietitian, a certified personal trainer, certified in adult weight management, and a certified mindfulness-based stress reduction trainer. She currently directs the lifestyle programs for a multi-site trial of the impact of lifestyle on remission of the metabolic syndrome, and serves as the lead dietitian for a multi-site trial of the impact of diet on the prevention of Alzheimer’s disease and for the Road Home Program for returning veterans and their families. She owns and operates CHOICE Nutrition and Wellness, Inc., through which she designed and directs the nutrition and fitness curriculum at a residence for young adults who are motivated to acquire independent life skills. She has over 15 years of research, clinical, and teaching experience in sustained lifestyle change in clinic, workplace, and community settings.
