Janet Yarboi, PhD, is a Clinical Child/Pediatric Psychologist at Rush University Medical Center and Rush University Children’s Hospital. Yarboi’s clinical work has focused on evaluation and treatment of children with a wide range of medical conditions who also struggle with emotional and behavioral difficulties including anxiety, depression, medical trauma, coping with illness/diagnosis, and support with hospitalization. Yarboi has received specialized training in both inpatient consultation and outpatient psychotherapy. At Rush, Yarboi works with children and adolescents during their inpatient hospitalizations as well as youth coming in for their regularly scheduled pediatric specialty clinic appointments with the Pulmonary/Cystic Fibrosis, Oncology, and Endocrinology teams. She is also involved in the training and supervision of pre-doctoral psychology residents.
