  • Fran Grodstein, ScD, is an epidemiologist, focused on the epidemiology of aging. She serves of professor of Internal Medicine at the RUSH Alzheimer’s Disease Center and in the Department of Internal Medicine, Section of Nutrition and Nutritional Epidemiology. Grodstein received her doctorate in epidemiology from the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health and completed postdoctoral fellowships at Harvard and at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in the Channing Division of Network Medicine.

    She was the scientific director of the Nurses’ Health Study prior to joining the RUSH Alzheimer’s Disease Center. She has published nearly 200 original manuscripts in the area of aging and has broad interests ranging from cognitive health to health services in older persons.
