David C. Reid, MD, FAAD serves as the Chief of Dermatology at Rush University Medical Center. He received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA. He completed internship and residency at Northwestern University, where he served as Chief Resident. Reid is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He is also a member of the Association of Professors in Dermatology, Chicago Dermatological Society, European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, Medical Dermatology Society, Oncodermatology Society, and National Psoriasis Foundation.
Reid has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, and he has lectured nationally on the topics of teamwork and leadership. His research interests include the application of artificial intelligence in dermatology. Reid’s special clinical interests include psoriasis, vitiligo, oncodermatology, and dermatological autoimmune disease.
