Cynthia Hays, PhD is a licensed clinical psychologist and a member of the American Psychological Association. Hays has spent the past 15 years in private practice, providing neuropsychological assessments for children, adolescents, and young adults between the ages of 4-22.
Hays currently holds a part-time appointment at Rush Copley Medical Center which is jointly shared by the Physical Rehabilitation Department and the Family Medicine Residency Program. Her role as a faculty member of the Family Residency Program includes supervising and collaborating with residents about the emotional and behavioral concerns of their patients, providing didactic instruction of behavioral health topics commonly found in health care settings, and consulting with patients. Hays also provides psychological support and education to patients and staff on the acute rehabilitation unit.
Hays’ clinical interests include ADHD, specific learning disabilities, developmental disorders, depression, anxiety, and anger/oppositional behavior. In addition to her duties at the Rush Copley Medical Center, Hays maintains her private practice in Hinsdale, IL where she specializes in comprehensive neuropsychological assessments with children and adolescents.
