Colleen Cheverko, PhD, joined the Rush University faculty as an Assistant Professor in April 2023. She earned her PhD in Biological Anthropology from The Ohio State University. Before starting at Rush, she was an Assistant Professor of Anatomical Sciences at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine-Louisiana, where she taught courses in gross anatomy and neuroanatomy to medical students. She teaches courses in gross anatomy for the health sciences and medical colleges at Rush. Her research applies interdisciplinary approaches to studying correlations between physiological stress and aging in past populations.
