Arooshi Kumar, MD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Neurological Sciences at Rush University Medical Center. She received her medical degree from the University of Louisville. She completed her neurology residency training at New York University and then completed a vascular neurology fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania.
Kumar’s clinical expertise includes cerebrovascular disease, stroke, stroke prevention and transient ischemic attack. She has a special interest in bringing cutting edge technology to bedside and research focus in machine learning applications for stroke prediction.
