Anne Hoffmann, PhD, CCC-SLP, has a clinical background as a speech-language pathologist and a PhD in Speech and Hearing Science. She completed a post-doctoral position in the Department of Pediatrics at Rush Medical Center and maintains a joint appointment there since having joined the faculty in the Department of Communication Disorders and Sciences. Hoffmann’s research has focused on how to best modify assessment and intervention tools for children with neurodevelopmental disorders, including how to support caregivers. She practices clinically in early intervention settings and has begun a line of research examining how to promote best outcomes for children in under-resourced communities.
