Virtual Sub Internship 

Rush Urology is hosting a 2-week virtual elective for 4th year students applying for Urology residency. Students will have the opportunity to get to know faculty and residents via virtual didactics and small group attending-directed conferences. Students will demonstrate their urologic knowledge with a short virtual Grand Rounds presentation. Course credit is available, and learning will be supplemented by independent study of an online curriculum. Pass/Fail grade will be determined by attendance and evaluation of presentation and a web-based exam. We do not accept students after the month of September.  Please apply below. 

Goals and Objectives 

By the end of rotation, the student will be able to:

  • Take a complete urologic history

  • Interpret and describe basic urologic radiographic findings

  • Concisely present patient findings during rounds and clinic

  • Assist in basic bedside, emergency room, and operating room procedures
