Non-Accredited Fellowship Eligibility to Recruit Applicants on J-1 Visas

Non-Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) accredited fellowships at Rush must have institutional approval to recruit and train physicians with J-1 visa sponsorship. The approved programs are known as Non-Standard Training Programs (NSTs). Please see the list below of non-ACGME accredited fellowships at Rush to determine whether a program is eligible to offer appointments to trainees on J-1 visas.

Please refer to the programs’ websites and contact individual programs for their full selection criteria.

Please note: Rush’s application for Institutional Recognition to offer NST programs that accept trainees on J-1 visas is pending approval by the ACGME.
