Hand Surgery Fellowship

The hand surgery fellowship is an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education-accredited program providing comprehensive clinical training and extensive research opportunities.

Our program is unique in its ability to teach the full spectrum of upper extremity surgery and offers a high-volume and diverse setting for learning. You'll build skills in general hand surgery, microsurgery (including trauma and reconstruction), and congenital hand and elbow surgery.

Eight faculty members, all highly experienced in and dedicated to the teaching of hand and upper extremity care, guide fellows through varied rotations. Practice settings include RUSH University Medical Center, a renowned tertiary academic center; a busy level I trauma center/county hospital; and a respected not-for-profit pediatric hospital. The diversity in patient populations and resources broadens your experience, teaching you to thrive in multiple health care delivery systems.
