Welcome From the DirectorWe take great pride in our training program. Most of the faculty are graduates of the program from as far back as 1985 to as recently as 2009. The Section of Nephrology at Rush University Medical Center has a long tradition of research in glomerular pathology and treatment. Dr. Edmund Lewis, is the Principal Investigator of the Collaborative Study Group. Studies done by the Collaborative Study Group have defined the standard of care for lupus nephritis and both types 1 and type 2 diabetic nephropathy.
