The Division of Immunology and Virology (DIV) in the Department of Immunology/ Microbiology is committed to producing creative and productive investigators. Toward this goal, DIV supports graduate education, including didactic and research opportunity to qualified and motivated students. Success in graduate studies and excellence in research depends on determination, dedication, tenacity, hard work, and talent. PhD and master's degrees are awarded to individuals who have met all the division and Rush University requirements. Graduating students are expected to be capable of independent critical thinking and writing as well as performing and effectively presenting their research.
