About Rush University Teaching Excellence Bootcamp

Professional Development Courses for Faculty

Doctors StandingAt Rush University, we are committed to providing an exceptional learning environment for our students, whether in the classroom or at the bedside. As an institution, Rush has heavily invested in facilities that reflect the most up-to-date research on adult learning theory, including award-winning active learning spaces.

Our Faculty Affairs office is equally committed to the student learning experience and the professional development of our faculty. Over the last 5 years, we have partnered with exceptional faculty educators from around the Chicago-land area to provide faculty with intensive training to elevate and enhance their teaching skills. With years of course development and validation, this bootcamp offers evidence-based and highly interactive sessions with large- and small-group break outs.

The intended audience is faculty in Health Care Academic Institutions who are involved in various teaching modalities and settings. Participants will walk away with concrete tools and contemporary best practices that can be immediately applied in their daily educational endeavors.
