The RUSH Department of Urology is consistently ranked among the best urology programs in Chicago and has earned national recognition in the latest U.S. News & World Report “Best Hospitals” issue, ranking #14 of all urology programs surveyed nationwide.
Our students and residents learn from our respected faculty who are also practicing physicians. We treat a wide range of urologic conditions, from prostate and bladder cancer to overactive bladder, urinary dysfunction and erectile dysfunction.
Our physicians use advanced technologies and approaches, including laparoscopic and robotic surgery and other minimally invasive techniques. Because we are based at a top-tier academic medical center, we treat high volumes of high-risk patients with diverse clinical histories and socioeconomic backgrounds. This gives our students and residents ample learning opportunities.
Many of our faculty are also involved in important research aimed at improving urologic care.
