New Student Orientation

Some programs require students to take part in a mandatory orientation day.

Orientation begins with a welcome from leadership and is followed by an introduction to many of the services and departments that you will interact with during your time here. In the afternoon, you will participate in an orientation fair, which includes the following:

  • Visit with various University offices
  • Register for a parking pass ($30 check or cash deposit for the Avit garage transponder)
  • Get additional information on student health insurance and the Rush Wellness Assistance Program
  • Take a campus tour
