Scientific Leadership Council

The establishment in 2007 of the Rush Translational Science Consortium, among other activities, reinforced our commitment to supporting our research faculty, including junior faculty members as they transition to independent investigators.

The Scientific Leadership Council, part of the Rush Translational Science Consortium, has been an effective steward of Rush’s investment in research. Faculty have successfully leveraged pilot and capital equipment grants from the council to win multiple research awards. The council also supports a formal mentoring program for early career scientists and organizes a yearly research forum to showcase faculty and student research.
