Flying to Chicago?
There are two major airports that serve the Chicagoland area:
Transportation Options from both O’Hare & Midway Airports
- Shuttle: The Airport Express Shuttle is a shared ride service. It costs approximately $30 from O’Hare, and about $60 from Midway.
- Public Transportation: The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) provides rail service from both airports for $5.

- Taxi: Taxi stands are located at the lower level curb front at each terminal. Fares are based on traffic conditions, but you should expect to spend approximately $60 when traveling from O’Hare, and roughly $40 when traveling from Midway. Depending on traffic, it can take anywhere from 30 – 90 minutes to travel from Midway, and anywhere from 45 – 120 minutes to travel from O’Hare.
- Uber & Lyft: Uber & Lyft services are available at both airports. While Rideshare prices are typically cheaper than taxis, the wait time is often longer; especially during peak travel times. Depending on traffic, travel times can vary dramatically. Please plan accordingly.
Driving to Rush?

If you plan on parking at Rush, you will want to park in the main parking garage (Letter P on the map of the medical center campus), which is located on Harrison Street between Ashland and Paulina. When you enter the garage you will receive a parking ticket, which we will validate at the end of your Recruitment Day (NOTE: we cannot validate Valet parking tickets).
