Dr. Marcia Phillips is dedicated to teaching nursing and medical students palliative care. She is currently a Junior Mentor in the Coleman Palliative Care Fellowship Grant program after participating as a Fellow the previous three years. She is an Assistant Professor both in the Department of Adult and Gerontological Nursing, Rush College of Nursing and in the Department of Internal Medicine in the Rush Medical College.
She received training in the End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium-Critical Care (ELNEC-CC) and Education in Palliative and End-of-Life Care (EPEC). Phillips enjoys teaching in the GEM program especially supervising the students in their final clinical Immersion and Capstone projects.
