Clinical Interests:
Kenneth Carson, MD, is an assistant professor in the Division of Hematology, Oncology and Cell Therapy at Rush Medical College. His clinical interests include lymphomas and multiple myeloma, with particular interest in T-cell lymphomas and cutaneous lymphomas. He recently co-authored a study which aimed to investigate whether the rate of rise in serum monoclonal protein concentration during the year after MGUS diagnosis predicts progression of MGUS to multiple myeloma.
Dr. Carson received his medical degree from the University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Duke University Medical Center, and his fellowship at Northwestern University, McGaw Medical Center. Dr. Carson is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, and a member of the American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
