Recruitment 2023-24 Information

How to Apply

The Rush Otolaryngology program will fill two spots in the 2024 Match.

We participate in the Electronic Residency Application Service, or ERAS, and National Resident Matching Program, or NRMP.

Please submit the following via ERAS by October 1, 2023 for consideration:

  • ERAS application
  • Personal statement
  • Medical school transcript
  • Medical Student Performance Evaluation
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • U.S. Medical Licensing Examination Step I status
  • USMLE Step II CK score (if available)

Interviews will be held on the following dates:

  • Saturday, November 18, 2023
  • Friday, December 8, 2023
  • Saturday, January 27, 2024

Applicants invited to interview typically have excellent credentials from LCME-accredited medical schools, are in the upper ranks of their medical school classes, and are well rounded. Many demonstrate interest in the field through participation in otolaryngology research while in medical school and demonstrate superb interpersonal skills during the interview.

Qualified applicants must be able to secure temporary licensure in Illinois.
