Wise Women Wellness Over 50: A Prescription for Aging Gracefully

Women’s health issues can impact every aspect of life-self-esteem, self-confidence, activity levels, diet, weight, mental health, relationships, family life, scholastic and physical performance, career, overall ability to function at home and work and much more. This course endeavors to empower women with the knowledge they need to take control of their own healthcare and live life to the fullest each day.

In this course we will:

  • Explore the diagnosis and physiology of menopause
  • Review symptomatology - including genitourinary symptoms
  • Discuss options and treatments, including lifestyle changes, OTC treatments, Hormonal Treatments, Non-hormonal Treatments and Complimentary/Alternative Therapies
  • Consider Heart Disease and Prevention
  • Consider Osteoporosis and Prevention
  • Integrate Preventative Health Options
