RNCAH - Educating Future Providers

In 2008, the Institute of Medicine in their report, Retooling for an Aging America, projected that the United States will need an additional 3.5-million health care providers by 2030 just to maintain the current ratio of health care workers to the population. RNCAH faculty are doing their part in educating nurses at these levels: generalist entry master’s, advanced practice nurses, Doctor of Nursing Practice and the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD program). Graduates are prepared to assume supportive and advanced clinical roles, leadership and faculty/scholar roles.

Students at Rush College of Nursing work with older adults in a variety of settings including the home, community agencies.
