Graduates from all accredited colleges and universities are welcome to apply to Rush’s GEM program. Rush University College of Nursing is affiliated with a number of institutions of higher learning. An affiliation consists of a contractual agreement between Rush College of Nursing and another academic institution whereby a student receives their bachelor’s degree and all or the majority of their education from that institution. Upon meeting all the admission requirements of Rush, applicants are qualified to receive preferential admission to the direct entry master’s (MSN) for non-nurses: generalist entry master’s (GEM) clinical nurse leader (CNL) program. Preferential admission into the GEM program is dependent upon the number of qualified applications received during the year from the affiliate school. If you are currently a student at an affiliated institution please connect with the faculty contact to discuss the requirements to apply as an affiliated student. Please note graduates from all accredited colleges and universities are welcome to apply to Rush’s GEM program.
