Where
to Start
Housing in metropolitan Chicago is abundant and the "For Rent" ads can be a little overwhelming. Before you begin reading all the ads, take a few minutes to consider how much rent you can afford to pay, how far you are willing to commute to campus, and if you want to live alone or with a roommate. If you are new to the city, it is advisable to have a good map on hand so you can get an idea of Rush University's location in regard to the rest of the city. The suburbs of Oak Park, Forest Park, North Riverside, Cicero and Berwyn are also served by their own community newspapers.
