Neonatal Clinical Nurse Specialist (DNP) Program Information

The neonatal clinical nurse specialist program (DNP) is designed to prepare experienced neonatal nurses for roles as advanced practice nurses in the subspecialty care of neonates with alterations in health. The neonatal CNS DNP integrates care across the continuum and through three spheres of influence: direct patient / client care, nurses and nursing practice, and systems and organizations. Neonatal CNSs creates environments through mentoring and system changes that empower nurses to develop caring, evidence-based practices.
