Program OverviewIn January 2012, Rush opened its doors to a new 14-story hospital which included a technologically advanced 32-bed inpatient unit that includes monitoring systems for patients leaving the intensive care units as well as video-EEG monitoring rooms for epilepsy patients. The unit houses all patients with primary neurological diagnoses including stroke, neuromuscular diseases, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis and movement disorders. CurriculumThe primary educational goal of the Neurology Residency is to ensure upon graduation that the resident is competent to enter the unsupervised practice of general neurology, as well as to pursue fellowship training for further clinical or academic advancement.
