About The Program

The CCEP Fellowship at Rush University Medical Center is a high volume training program that trains fellows to be well versed in the fundamentals of clinical cardiac electrophysiology as well as the newest technologies and the procedures. The fellowship is structured to provide valuable procedural, inpatient and outpatient experiences. In addition to clinical training, research projects are encouraged to provide trainees with a foundation for critical thinking and manuscript preparation.

How To Apply

In order to be eligible for our fellowship, the candidate must have completed three years of cardiology training (and be board-eligible or -certified in cardiovascular disease). Successful graduates of our program (who are board-certified in cardiovascular disease) are eligible to take the Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology examination offered by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). Applicants must currently be U.S. citizens, be classified as resident aliens or be eligible for a J-1 or H-1B Visa.
