Laser Capture Microdissection Core

This core is facilitated by Elliot J. Mufson, PhD. Tissues are complex structures containing multiple cell types characterized by phenotypic heterogeneity and differential vulnerability to disease processes. Thus, a key objective for the study of disease pathogenesis is the reliable identification and isolation of vulnerable cell types from biopsied or autopsied tissues for subsequent analysis.
