Welcome From the Director

A vascular fellowship training program at Rush University Medical School was formally established in 1988 by Dr. Hassan Najafi, chairman of the Department of Cardiovascular-Thoracic Surgery at that time. Since its inception, the fellowship has flourished and grown into one of the premier vascular surgery training programs in the country.
