OT Clinical Services

Within the Medical Center there are more than 45 dedicated occupational therapy practitioners working with pediatric, adult and geriatric patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Specialty areas include rehabilitation, acute care, psychiatry, pediatrics, geropsychiatry, and hand therapy. All faculty hold clinical positions and many clinicians hold faculty appointments within the College of Health Sciences and exemplify the concept of the practitioner-teacher-investigator model typical of all educational programs in the university. Occupational therapy practitioners provide clinical training to more than 30 students from Rush and other academic programs each year.
