Overview of Perfusion Technology Program

The Department of Perfusion Technology provides students with the scientific knowledge and clinical experience needed to become successful professionals in the field of cardiovascular perfusion.

Graduates of the Rush University perfusion technology program are prepared to fill the roles of chief perfusionist, researchers and educators in a variety of health care institutions.

Master of Science in Perfusion Technology

No prior health care experience is required to be considered for admission. 

The Master of Science in perfusion technology prepares graduates for a professional career as advanced perfusionists and leaders in education, research and clinical specialization. 

This program requires a minimum of 107 quarter credit hours to be completed at the graduate level.
