Twenty-eighth Anniversary of the Rush Program for the Prevention of Harassment

For over a quarter century, the Rush Policy and Procedures on Sexual and Other Harassment have served as the cornerstone of our strong institutional program for the prevention of harassment and as a national model for policies of this kind. The Policy prohibits sexual harassment as well as harassment based on an individual’s age, ancestry, color, disability as defined by Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act, gender, gender identity and/or expression, marital or parental status, national origin, pregnancy, race, religion, sexual orientation, veteran’s status or any other category protected by federal or state law. The prevention of harassment in each of these areas is equally important to Rush.
