The Student Academy of Audiology (SAA) at Rush University showed their Special Olympics and Chicago spirit on March 2 at the 14th Annual Chicago Polar Plunge.
The Rush University “Swimmer’s Ear” team of seven raised $1,698. Notice their oversized ears! The event received national attention for the participation of mayor, Rahm Emanuel, and The Tonight Show host, Jimmy Fallon. More than two thousand participants braved the Lake Michigan water temperature of 32 degrees and raised more than $1 million for Special Olympics Chicago.
