College of Nursing
US News and World report ranks Rush University College of Nursing 15th in the nation among 467 nursing colleges with graduate programs, and is ranked in the top ten in six nursing specialties. Rush is the only ranked university with an exclusive health science focus. Our graduates are highly sought after by employers for their excellent clinical and leadership preparation and ability to focus on improving health outcomes at a systems level.
Students learn in a dynamic environment where teaching, clinical practice and research are integrated. Faculty "practice what they teach". Over seventy-five percent of our faculty members are doctorally prepared and many are Fellows of the American Academy of Nursing. A low student-to-faculty ratio allows for increased interaction in class and clinical experience and greater personal attention for the student.
