  • Keri Kwarta, AuD, CCC-A, is a clinical audiologist and an instructor in the Department of Communication Disorders and Sciences. She has been a practicing audiologist for the past 28 years, has provided adult cochlear implant services for the last 11 years and has served as the audiology cochlear implant coordinator at Rush for the past 8 years. Kwarta received her Doctor of Audiology from the University of Florida in 2004 and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and is a member of the Illinois Academy of Audiology. Her areas of interest include audiometric evaluations, immittance audiometry, electronystagmography testing, electrophysiology testing, including auditory brainstem response, electrocochleography, otoacoustic emissions, videonystagmography and hearing aid dispensing.
