Ronald has an extensive volunteer record. He has worked as a tutor for elementary to college students, as a student clinician and an advocate mentor. He was also a member of the Pediatrics interest group where he helped organize an event on Halloween for children with diabetes. Ronald was elected President of the Crossroads ministries, a student-run campus organization. He also organized trips to the area surrounding Tijuana, Mexico where he helped build homes for underprivileged families. Ronald?s research experiences include assisting in a pain management study among Sickle Cell patients, a retrospective study on viral myocarditis and a study that compared the prevalence of polymorphism in women who developed breast cancer in post or premenopausal women. Ronald's enthusiasm for cooking has earned him the nickname "Iron Chef Ron" as he enjoys experimenting with new cooking techniques |
