Augustine Manadan, MD, is chairman of Rheumatology of the Cook County Health & Hospital Systems. Manadan is an associate professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at Rush Medical College and is director of education in the Section of Rheumatology at Rush. Manadan serves as attending physician at both Cook County and Rush.

Manadan is a member of the American College of Rheumatology, Chicago Rheumatism Society and the Arthritis Foundation. His research interests include tuberculosis, myositis and thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura. Manadan's work has been published in journals such as Arthritis and Rheumatism, Journal of Rheumatology, American Journal of Therapeutics, Clinical Infectious Disease, Current Opinion in Rheumatology, Seminars in Arthritis & Rheumatism and Clinical and Experimental Rheumatology.

Manadan received his medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine and his fellowship in rheumatology at Rush.
