Dejuran Richardson, PhD, has been affiliated with RUSH since 1993. He is a biostatistician with expertise in the design, conduct, operations, management and analyses of clinical trials. Working with clinical trials over the past 25 years, his expertise includes single and multisite trials in cancer, HIV, stroke and cardiopulmonary diseases.

More recently, he has developed expertise in behavioral clinical trial methods and serves as the director of the Research Coordinating Unit of a multisite behavioral trial and a permanent faculty member on the NIH-OBSSR Summer Institute for Behavioral Randomized Trials. He is currently a standing member of the NHLBI Clinical Trials Study Section and serves on three NHLBI Data and Safety Monitoring Boards. He holds a joint appointment as professor and chair of the Department of Mathematics at Lake Forest College.
