Karla Shipp-Johnson is the current project director for The WISH Project in collaboration with The Study of Women's Health Across the Nation (SWAN). She had ten years experience working as a Research Technician with the The WISH Project before taking on the role as project director. She is trained in professional interviewer technique. She has worked on all aspects of the project including data entry, interviewing, specimen collecting and participant retention. She is trained and certified to take anthropomorphic measures and to administer cognitive assessments. She is the gold standard for anthropomorphic measures through the Coordinating Center of SWAN. She has helped with implementing the sub studies conducted by SWAN such as the Heart Study and the Diabetes Risk Study and also supported the staff of the Sleep Study-Kravitz (PI). |
