The Sleep Medicine Fellowship training program is a multidisciplinary program involving faculty from pulmonary/critical care medicine, neurology, otorhinolaryngology, psychiatry, and psychology. The fellowship is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. Understanding and characterizing sleep-related breathing disorders, parasomnias, insomnias, dyssomnias, and medical/psychiatric sleep disorders will occur along with an understanding of the technical aspects related to diagnosing sleep disorders. Reading material will be provided along with recommendations for additional reading. A balance between clinical encounters, reading, hands-on laboratory experience, research, teaching and practice examinations will provide the foundation for the Sleep Medicine Fellowship training program. See the links at right for more information about the training program.
