Welcome to the Rush University Medical Center's Nuclear Medicine Residency program Web site. The program offers comprehensive learning experience in various aspect of Nuclear Medicine and prepares the resident to practice at highest level of clinical competence and skills. The educational program is 36 months in length for applicants who have completed at least one year of internal medicine, transitional training or residency other than radiology in an ACGME-approved program. Upon successful completion, applicant can appear for board certification in Nuclear Medicine. Board certified/eligible radiology applicants can apply for one or two years of training which will prepare them for board certification in nuclear radiology or nuclear medicine.
