The next opening in our dermatology residency program will be for two PGY-2 residents beginning July 1, 2018. We train a total of six residents annually. We participate in the NRMP Match which will take place in March 2017 for both the 2017 preliminary programs as well as the 2018 dermatology programs.
Per the American Board of Dermatology (ABD), some basic requirements for the Dermatology residency program include satisfactory completion of the (PGY-1) level transitional year, limited to Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Family Practice, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, or Emergency Medicine, at an accredited U.S. (or Canadian) medical school, approved by the Board, plus a valid, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the U.S.
