The Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) graduate is a leader equipped to affect change in complex environments.
The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in nursing science graduate is prepared as a clinical researcher. Based on the integration of knowledge from biological, behavioral and clinical sciences, students learn clinical research skills that will contribute to the scientific basis of care provided to individuals across the lifespan and in any setting where care is provided. Graduates will also have leadership skills necessary to serve as senior academicians and influence health care systems and policy.
Non-nurses who hold a graduate degree in a health-related field will be considered for admission.
