If you answered yes to these questions, then Rush University College of Nursing has the right program to fit your professional goals. The clinical nurse leader (CNL) Master of Science in nursing degree builds upon your clinical knowledge and experience by teaching you important leadership skills necessary for today's complex health care arena. This innovative program is designed to produce a systems-level thinker who can improve quality and safety outcomes, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver compassionate and effective care, and effectively use technology in the generation and application of evidence-based care.

What Is Unique About Rush's Program?

Our clinical nurse leader program is a two-year, part-time, online curriculum with one campus visit that provides RNs with the necessary knowledge and experience to implement the role of the clinical nurse leader across a variety of health care settings. Clinical experiences are arranged at your current work location. No need to quit your job or look for clinical sites. Upon completion of the degree, students are eligible to sit for certification as a clinical nurse leader. Nurses with a BSN or associate's degree with a bachelor's in another field are eligible to apply.
