Rush collects only the information necessary to provide CME registrants with the services they request. When visitors register for CME activities we ask for information about their identity to maintain a record of their participation. Registrants may be contacted if there is a problem with the registration for instance, if there is a duplicate registration for the same activity or if there is a question about information submitted. Participants may be asked to submit a knowledge test following completion of an online course; this is necessary so that we may provide evaluation and feedback concerning the participant's understanding of the content. Additionally, participants have the opportunity to evaluate CME activities to help us improve these activities and future ones using an online form available on our site. Completion of the form is voluntary, and participants have the option of submitting forms without personally identifiable information. We may ask participants whether they want to be notified when new CME activities are available on the site; we will not send such information to anyone who has not asked us to send it. We do not share information about participants with anyone outside Rush without the participant's explicit consent unless we have a good faith belief that we are required by law to disclose such information. We offer a number of online courses through third-party providers; Rush is not responsible for their privacy policies. It is the participant's responsibility to learn the privacy and data collection policies of these third-party providers.
